An empty Scanner is a real result. The criteria are not relaxed to fill the page.
How this is measured
- Model
- Our calibrated probability for that market, fitted on graded pre-kickoff results. Not the model's raw confidence, which overstates.
- Market
- 1 divided by the decimal price. It still contains the bookmaker's margin, so it is the market-implied probability rather than a fair-odds figure.
- AI Value
- The difference between the two, expressed on a unit stake. A price comparison - not a forecast of profit.
The Scanner ranks predictions that already exist. It does not generate them and it does not choose Best Picks - a Best Pick is one of our strongest calls for a single match, an Opportunity is about the current price, and a prediction can be either, both or neither.
